Start on a Shared Host — No Azure Subscription Required
You can start with AI Rule Engine on a shared host without setting up your own Azure subscription first - or run a dedicated host inside your own Azure subscription when you are ready.

Shared Host: The Easiest Way to Start
Shared-host environments run on AI Rule Engine’s managed infrastructure. There is no Azure subscription, networking, or separate infrastructure billing to set up - you pick a plan and start building. Every plan includes an MCP server so AI agents can trigger your workflows.
- Free - $0/month. 1 virtual environment, 200 ruleset runs per month, and 2 author seats. File storage starts on Pro. Overage is auto-billed via credits, so workflows keep running.
- Pro - $49/month. 3 virtual environments, 10,000 ruleset runs per month, 5 author seats, and 5 GB of file storage.
- Team - $199/month. 15 virtual environments, 50,000 ruleset runs per month, 15 author seats, and 20 GB of file storage.
- Enterprise - $999/month. 50 virtual environments, 500,000 ruleset runs per month, 25 author seats, and unlimited file storage and retention.
Every paid plan can be billed monthly or annually. Annual billing saves one month on Pro and Team, and two months on Enterprise. On every plan, run overage is auto-billed via credits rather than hard-stopping your automations.
Dedicated Host: Enterprise in Your Own Azure
When you want AI Rule Engine deployed inside your own Azure subscription, the Enterprise plan lets you run up to 3 of your 50 environments as dedicated hosts. That gives you the cloud boundary, governance controls, and Azure-level visibility many teams need for production, and runs on a dedicated host are never metered - the monthly run allowance only ever applies to your shared environments.
Dedicated hosting is not a separate plan any more. It is a deployment option inside Enterprise, so you can mix shared and dedicated environments in the same organization: shared for the workloads that just need to run, dedicated for the ones that have to stay inside your tenant.
If you already have Azure standards, networking requirements, or internal policies to follow, deploy those environments as dedicated hosts.

Start with the One That Matches Your Team
If you want the simplest onboarding path, start on a shared-host plan - the Free plan costs nothing. If you want your own Azure deployment from day one, choose Enterprise and deploy those environments as dedicated hosts.
